Warming Up

Is it normal for the transmission to warm up faster than the engine (6.0)? I have noticed it when I go outside after I started the truck before I leave for work.

The gauge will show this ,yes. There's been a lot of discussion about the Trans temp gauge on here. It may be some help to warn about high temps, but the concesis seems to be it's not at all acurate. Try doing a search, there's plenty of disussion....
