Hi everyone I'm new to the site and need some help IDing my truck. Only tag I found was aluminum 6" long 2" wide sitting in the glove box no ownership with the truck . The truck I believe is a 1960 f100 4X4 223 engine, the tag reads like this: 20073A-6991018ZL 01 1RR 3, 89
Welcome and congrats on your first FTE post, I`m glad you found us. I can`t help with vin but I`ll bump it back up to the top and hope someone can jump in real soon.

F-F100 118 5000 ZE-4. SPD
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Glenn
The "Rating Plate" on 1960 Ford Pickup Trucks is either installed on the left front cab pillar or glovebox door.
However, I could find no Ford plate that mounts on the glovebox door that matches the description of the type you listed. It's possible the tag on the glove box was for a US Gov't vehicle, or a replacement by a state agency for a lost plate..(the PD portion of SPD could possibly stand for a police department).
This much is possible: F100 is the designation for a half ton truck, 118 could stand for the wheel base in inches, and 5000 could be the GVW.
The rest of the tag information, I couldn't find...there might be a motor# in that code, but I dunno.
