Installing/Replacing/Refurbish Tag on door
When stripping down my 65 F100 I was thinking about drilling out the is it rivets? that hold the factory tag to the door for painting and stripping, Is there ANYWHERE you can get these what I call rivets to reattach the tag after refurbishing? Is there ANYONE who can duplicate or refurbish these tags? Two of my 65s the tags have been painted over and would like to make them look new and reattach then LIKE or NEAR like in appearance as the originals. ANY help appreciated

I had a similar situation, I accidentally hit it with the sandblasting unit and well made it look not so good, so we primed it and painted it basecoat black then sanded the letters and numbers with 600 grit just to get the black off and cleared it and just used regular rivets to put it back on. Definitely not original but looks good. As for someone who refinishes them well I don't know, but someone who does may come along.

FOUND source of replacement tags
Thanks for your quick response, after MUCH searching I DID find a source, not only for the tags but also the rivets, check out
