Thought this might be a skier or sledhead thread. Our local ski area, White Pine, is rocky with only 20". Plus, I've got a ticket to France to ski in January for a week, and it's the warmest winter there in 1,300 years. Figures......
Even though it's only Wednesday, now the local weather guys are saying 2-4 inches on Friday, maybe the mostly slushy, wet, stick to everything kind. Figures, the folks are coming into town from California on Friday, so rush hour will be just terrible. It'll be hell getting to the airport, what with newbies with AWD spinning out all over the place. I finally just put my snows on this AM and fired up the snow blowers. With our luck, it'll probably mostly be rain.
WHY ? I hate snow, don't ever want to see it again, but in Ontario I know that will never happen. Just think you would never have to store your collector cars (no salt to worry about) and you would be able to ride your motorcycles year round, I am all for that. HERE'S TO NO SNOW
Ok Im in southern Colorado and I got just over 2 feet here, Where can I send it? LOL
My Ranger has been in 4 high for three days now
I'm in southern Colorado too, but in the "Banana Belt" along the Arkasas River valley. We received maybe 3 inches of snow out of this latest storm here in Pueblo, but were invaded by millions of TUMBLEWEEDS ! ! ! Some folks here found there house almost buried, up to the gutters with the critters. The wind was very bad, making white out conditions for several hours, and the roads were then covered with ice as well. Thankfully we didn't get the snow that Colorado Springs and Denver got!!!! But then again, they deserve it, don't they?

YOU BETCHA!!!! The local news gave us a 1 to 10 ratio: 10 inches of snow gives us 1 inch of water. I've been throwing as much as possible up on the lawn, against the house. Just can't stand to lose all that good water to the storm drains.
I was snowmobling about 2 weeks ago- 10" of snow, brilliant. As quick as it came it left. This will be the first christmas in 37 years it will not be white.
bummer!

Nice to see ya here Rick!
Yup, we could have used the moisture as well. Instead, we got several feet of tumbleweeds!
To qualify myself here, for the "deserve it" comment Hypoid, I lived afew miles from you for 22 years, in the Westy/Arvada area. I was there for the last big snow in March '03 when I had 34 inches of the white stuff on the ground.
