You would never think of having to wear a winter coat in April, or for the fact even a coat in April. But yes today I had to break one out. THe NWS is predicting 2 to 4 inches of the white stuff by Sunday evening. Yes I said snow in April!!! Its starting to come down pretty hard. They have us under a snow advisory.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING BEFORE CHANGING BACK TO RAIN BY NOON ON SUNDAY. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON OVER MUCH OF THE TRI-STATE....
Hilarious, I mowed my yard today with my winter coat on. It was spitting snow. Later, when I was grinding my pool floor to get ready to paint it it was sleeting to beat the band, almost like little hail.
thats nothing new here. i've seen deep snow on oct. 4th and may 1st covering the canvas on my floating boat at the marina. the one thing we will never understand is mother nature.
I woke up this morning and the snow was comming down, we had about 2 inches. It was 80 all last week, I was just starting to get use to the warm weather now it is 30 again. I live in East Tn.
A couple of feet a few days ago then what seem like a couple of feet of rain. Always love this place during apr-may. Were lucky if you like snow, go 14 miles up the road and they get 750-990 inches so we can play all summer long if you like. I snowmachine so I get to play all year around usually.
I rode my Harley to Maryland (where I am currently) last Wednesday. The trip up here was NICE...it's been rainy here since then and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I have decent weather for the return trip on Wednesday. Two years ago...the last time I made the trip on my Harley, I spent 4 hours in rain on the way up and 10 hours in rain on the way home. I'm just hoping this return trip is better...I don't even want to think about snow!

please don't remind me of runs like that. rode from nj to bike week a few times on a pan filled with 60 w oil. try kick starting that on a cold march day after a motel over night. knew i should have parked it inside the room. but it would have marked it's spot.

Capt Charlie,
Sorry about that How far was that ride for you? Mine from Ky to MD is 600 miles each way...after this trip, I don't think I'll be doing it anymore. The fuel savings were nice though...at 53-55 mpg, it cost me $24.80 to get here
