leaking holley carb question

I am running dual (2 bb Holley) carbs on a 47 flathead. They run fine but when the engine is shut off the rear carb drips out of the bottom of the carb for a minute then dumps out a few ounces of gas all at one time. Removing the top shows there is still gas in the float bowl, float setting is fine, float and shut off appear good. Anybody experience this problem or have a suggestion? Carbs have been rebuilt and new mechanical fuel pump is regulated to 1 pound pressure.

I've seen this before, due to th ilt in the engine...the fuel is tryong to seek an even level.

I beilieve the solution is a check valve on the fuel fuel line between the carbs
