GPR failure
I'm not sure if anyone has torn apart their bad GPR, but here's what I found out about mine. The contacts for the battery/glowplugs had arc'd themselves into oblivion. Now I'm thinking of installing a "summer" switch to disable the coil winding side of the GPR during the warm months of the year. I bought my replacement through Napa and found out how much they love this part, over $70! I also want to install an indicator light on the output of the relay so I know when it's on or off.

The NAPA part number GPR110 is the same as the GPR109 ($26) except the 109 needs to be rotated 90* to get it to mount in the stock holes.
I'll find out tonight how much of a hassle it is to rotate it with the wires. Everyone on here says the factory harness has enough slack in it to make it rotate easily.
