06 Info Center lights flash

Just purchased a 06 EB 4x4 and was driving it at night when I noticed that the information center lights would get bright then dim. I can't find any causes, but you can turn the blinker on and it will flash with the blinker. But it will do it just driving down the freeway, not using the blinker.

I have it at the dealership now trying to fix it but I thought I would see if any body has experienced this.

Loose battery or alternator cables, just got in from fixing the same problem on my range rover.
This is if all your lights are dimming, if it is just the message center then i don't know
