So... what would cause a blinker to stop blinking...and yes I know there is no such thing as blinker fluid... the light comes one but just stays on.... it just wont flash or blink.... any one got any ideas... it's driven my batty
you have a burnt out light bulb, I would assume that when you put the turn signal the other way that it works? If thats the case then turn the turn signal the way it does'nt work, and see if it's the front or back thats burnt out.
Well I got under the dash and started playing around... It would work for a little while then quit.... haz lights would do the same thing... Got the ol' brain to working and was thinking it was a short some where. notice it seems like when i pushed on the clutch or brake it did want to work.... Parked the truck for a min or two and started playing.... The blinker was working and then it stopped... noticed I couldn't hear the tinking noise of the blinker.... it was a short in the blinker motor... took an ol screw driver and cleaned the prongs and changed the blinker fluid and low and behold it started working and hasn't stopped....yet!
