no start.. Possible Electrical Smoke????
i have a 2000 f350 PSD with 175,000 miles
this morning i started the truck...it ran for about a minute then went into high idle like it always does.. ran for about 5 min. then died.... i tired to restart, it ran very rough for a few seconds then died..i replaced the CPS with no change... i tried to start the truck again, it ran for a very rough for a few seconds and died...only this time i saw a few small puffs of white smoke that were emitted when the truck died, i got out and saw that the smoke had come from te pass side of the engine and it smells smelled like smoke from an electrical short....
