Intake Reccomendations

I am in the process of converting my '85 2 barrel carb for a Holley 570cfm 4 barrel carb (and Duraspark II ignition conversion) and I need a good all-around intake for a daily driver truck. I was looking at a Weiand stock type intake and an Edelbrock performer intake, but I also have seen some Holley intakes. Would I be better off matching the Holley carb to a Holley intake? Any suggestions would be welcome!

I"ve had good luck with the edleborock doing the same type of mod on an 83 351 good allaround performance and drivability. If you'er puting it on a truck with an automatic remember to get a carb with ford kickdown linkage and you may have to lengthen your kick down rod or find one for a 360/390 with a c6 as this is a litle longer and work well.

all three are good choices.

The 80-86 trucks have no relation to the topic.
