Anyone use a hydrometer for fuel testing?

Wow! Thanks for all the work F250. I still haven't had a chance to look at mine, but it did cost me about $75 as I remember. I'll still get the manufactuer name today. For some reason I left it in my camper and it is at a storage yard. I agree with you though, the regular bulb would be fine. I know I have a large plastic test tube with my beer making stuff and something like that would work fine. You have to put the fuel in some type of container anyway, whether it is a can that you fill and suck in to the turkey baster or a taller test tube that will float the hydrometer, it doesn't really matter. Although it may be hard to actually fill the test tube style directly from the pump so you might have to fill up one container then pour that in to the test tube then float your hyrometer. But then you can wrap up the hydrometer and store it in the test tube anyway for protection, so really that might even be a better set up. Cheaper for sure!
