opinions on side steps

opinions on side steps

i have an 04 scab charcoal grey and am leaning towards the westin platinum side steps in black powdercoated stainless (there is no chrom on my truck) and i am wondering if anyone has had any experience with these? would anyone suggest anything different?

I will agree on going with black. As to the Westin's I don't really know. I have the factory black ones and they can be brutal when the weather is bad (rain/ snow) . My girlfriend slips off them fairly often.

I had Westin's on my Bronco and I won't go with their product again. Less than a year and the paint started to peel off. Check out Smittybuilt or the OEM from Ford

Go to AZ auto parts website, or search under Carr steps, and check the steps out. Come in 2 sizes, and in chrome or black. These are not running boards, but are steps that can easily be installed. I put them on my F-150 and they look great and are very functional. Non-slip tread and easy to clean.
