side step

Ok this might be dumb but would anyone know where I can find a side step for the bumps. Its hard getting in and out of Pearl in a skirt or dress. Not interested in flashing the world lol.

I bought a pair of the aluminum "Bulley" side steps from Amazon, and fab'd the fit myself.. I had no luck in finding any kind of after market step made for the '67 to '72 bumps...

Good luck, but it can be done... check out my truck...

Not a problem, when I get back South of the border... the truck is there, and I am North until just before Thanksgiving... My wife "Tames the Beast" as she refers to driving the truck, but with the addition of the Mercedes 3 position seats, she can now see over the steering wheel. And the Bully step, she can climb up in way easier than before... Oh, the addition of power steering made it possible for her to drive... and actually turn when she needs..

For a regular cab pickup part number was F3TZ16450L. Complete accessory kit with both sides and hardware. Paint to match. 1992-1997 F-series pickups. I can't post Ford parts pics like Bill can but I can tell ya this style of running board has a tubular reinforcement that bolts to the frame and then under the boards. Strong. I had them on a 95 Bronco years ago. They felt like I was standing on the frame itself, not just a running board.

Dunno Baja. Maybe a little fabbing. I just remembered them from a Bronco I had years ago.

As your saying goes..."Never be afraid to try something new" I am going to root around in Baja's junk yards.. La Paz has lots of them... those steps look like they belong...
