How accurate is the "Temperature" gauge?

This is as close in writing I have from the PCED...

Note: The Engine Temperature Warning Indicator (gauge or lamp) is a warning system that gives the driver information during an engine overheating condition. The PCM monitors the CHT sensor and determines if fail-safe cooling mode is needed. If fail-safe cooling mode is needed, the PCM can signal the driver in 2 ways:

Temperature Warning Indicator information received through the vehicle Communication Link (SCP or CAN):
The PCM sends a SCP or CAN message to the instrument cluster to signal an overheating condition. This causes the instrument cluster indicator to illuminate and/or forces the temperature gauge to the H (hot) zone. DTC P1285 will also be stored in the PCM.

Nice job, how many miles did those pugs have on them when you pulled and did you have much difficulty getting them out??

less than 100 and thats why roush says 91 octane no more no less. i had put in some 104 octane booster after i got the s/c put on and took it to the track it killed them the dealer/roush replaced them for free but roush wanted the plugs back the next time i was in i was told roush knew i had used 104.
