Yeah I know all about selling off parts!! If I had 25 cents on the dollar of what all I have sold in the last few years, I wouldnt have to get into my wallet for the CJ build! LOL..
Larry are you planning on retiring Galatic then and racin the Blower car? J/K you do know you'll have to learn how to drive the black car all over again!! LOL..Are you going 427 crossbolts or ProGrams? Shoot..you just reminded me I have to call them today!! Still no caroon on those caps yet in my hands!!
Naw...not racing the black car. Though there is ALOT of smack talkin around local about these guys and there mustangs and such. There is a local forum board that is nothing but BS talk'n about who's fastest, who's what, who's that...etc. I'd like to show up and put some low 10 sec blast down and drive it home! They do some late night street racing, but mostly nothing but TALK, TALK, TALK!
As for caps? Not sure, I like the 427 version better in my eyes(if I could find a set cheap enough). Guess I'll decide once I see a set of ProGrams in person.
I've yet to have to sell anything other than parts. Still collecting vehicles LOL!!!
Well Cool..you got your new crank no problem!! then! LOL..
Damn ProGrams Engineering is pissing me off!! I have called them twice this week for that info..and they say its in the mail?? Is it coming by Pony express??
Well good luck with it. I bet it goes up a bit more. The last few Algon's I've seen have been in the $1200+ range. They are pretty rare and your is nice and pretty complete.
You'll be able to get some nice parts with the cash. FWIW the Tunnelport intake I bought from Earl, he shipped it inside a big microwave oven box. That gave the box a good crush zone and it arrived in perfect shape. UPS/FED-EX as we know can be pretty tough on boxes this time of the year. Use lotsa bubble wrap. The best stuff I've seen is that expandable foam the shipping places use. You wrap the intake and they squirt the foam around the part and it forms to the box and part. Kinda like a big version of the window foam you use to seal small cracks etc..
Russ...dang !!! but try Keith Craft for those instructions!!!! I'm sure they have em. BTW what about Brent??? He installed those on his 390 block. He might have em??
Well Glenn, I dont know if KC or Shelly have time to mess with me? I'll just write Brent, I thought about that last night..See if he still has the paper work? Did he use a 390 for his Cobra ? I thought he had a CJ build?
Any word on the SideOiler? You know you can have it delivered to the Hotrod shop there!! LOL.. You might play hell getting it back tho...LOL..
Larry just thro the Injection system in a burlap sack and send it to me!!
I'm pretty sure Brent built a 390? His block had the crossbolt bosses tho. Maybe a C4-A?? I can't remember exactly.
No word on the block yet. The guys are off to PRI next week so hopefully after that. After the new year latest hopefully. But it's going to the shop here for a **** probe if you know what I mean!!! LOL We'll see how they did. I'm hoping for the best. LOL
I'am sure everything will be fine......I know he does a hell of alot of work..So I dont see how his feedback could be so good if he was getting hatchet about things??
