which modual
I am looking for a modual for my early 99 7.3L and am wondering if any one has tryed eather the Edge or the quadzilla Xzillaraider xzt, i dont want a big chip, i got over 200k on the engine and dont want to wreck it,
i have the ford severe duty intake and am 4" straight piped

if was you id get gauges..boost, pyro,trans temp if you got an auot trans..if you cant spend on them all.at least get the pyro cause with a tune you can raise the EGT'S prety fast..then id call jody at http://www.dp-tuner.com/ and get a costum made tuner.its a 16 position tuner but you can get as many or as few as you want..it comes with a stock setting and then what ever els you want after that. you can also send it back to him later and add more tunes later on..if its only one tune you want he can also flash your pcm with what ever hp tune you would like..only draw back is you only got that one tune..his tunes will also bump up trans line presure for a much better shift too.makes things alot easer on the trans..again thats if you got an auto trans...jody is a good guy.does great work and is very fast..give him a call and see what he has too say..good luck

I have the Quadzilla, commander which I like cause it has 4 temps on once screen. exept for the Water is actually the oil, but that is ok. the chip/module I did get but being sent back for them to fix it. but when I did have it, it seemed to work ok. I am like you, have lots of miles and I know I am on borrowed time on the tranny. hence the gauges, but have heard nothing bad about Jody's DP turner, next truck I would get his, but this I got a package deal so I went with it.
