body control modual

I have never heard of a body control module. There is no reference in either my Haynes or Chilton. You have an open circuit draining power in the system. Take a test light or a multi meter and start hunting.

The module they are refering to is called something else I can't remember at this time, GEMS maybe. Anyway that started in much later trucks. You don't have one in your '93. You have a PCM, (powertrain control module, i.e. "the computer"), WCM (wiper control module), RABS (rear antilock brake system), and the one in the fuel tank (Fuel Delivery Module????).
The one they are refering too is the one on newer vehicle that controls dome light delay, headlight delay, seatbelt alarms, key alarms, radio door locks, alarms. It the one that when it goes to hell every thing gets screwy.
