Leaking fuel drain?
I just looked under mine, and yep, a little fuel is leaking out the drain tube.
I HATE LEAKS!!!
So is it just coincidence, or is this possibly related to the introduction of ULSD?
And if it is, what about our injector o-rings?

"The evidence
to date suggests the problem is linked to
a change in the aromatics content of the
S15 ultra low sulfur diesel fuel, to seal
material and age of the material."
"Two explanations have been offered to
explain the sudden occurrence of seal
failures:
• Many of the new S15 fuels are
expected to contain lower levels of
aromatics. The change from a higher
to a lower aromatics fuel can cause
seals to shrink. Aged seals, which do
not have the elasticity to adapt to this
change, appear to fail sooner.
• Some of the new S15 fuels are
expected to be more susceptible to
oxidation. The resulting oxidation
products (peroxides) could attack the
seal material and cause it to
prematurely age."
"To date we have not seen evidence of
peroxide formation, therefore, we
believe that most cases are related
directly to the reduction in the aromatics
content of the fuel. This reduction is a
result of increased hydrotreating to
reduce fuel’s sulfur level to 15 ppm."
Seems to me that chevron is indicating here that the new fuel may be responsible for leaks. Am I reading this wrong?

So what do the experts think? Are injector o-rings next?

Those injector orings give me great concern. Fortunately they are far cheaper than injectors.
I just wonder how much of this is related to the age of our trucks as opposed to the new fuel. I know they failed before the new fuel from being on this forum. Perhaps they are reaching their acceptible lifespan. They did fail before. Maybe I'm in denial but I'm still good for now.
