Go to your dealer they can tell you in just a minute and if you do they will fix it should be no charge.

go to Fordvehicles.com and put your VIN into the TSB search thingy. it'll pull up any TSB's related to your truck

TSB=technical service bulletin....a problem sheet available to dealers with description and instructions to correct known problems.

click on Recalls/TSBS at the top of this page, and fill in your truck info.

I went to FordVehicles.com and did not see anything on the page about a TSB search. I also logged into the Ford Owners site and did not see any TSB search engines...

Maybe you listed the wrong site? Could you please re-check the site name, I'd like to have a site handy to search TSB's. Sometimes, this site is not up to date on the TSB's

Where on that site is the TSB search? I'm obviously not looking hard enough.

I installed a throttle body spacer at the same time I installed my Edge EVO. It's hard for me to say that it alone would make a dramatic improvement in throttle response. My throttle response is immediate after installing the pair. The two are coupled with a K&N CAI and Gibson exhaust. If you find the throttle response on the stock machine unacceptable I recommend this setup. It did take about a $1400 (or so) investment but it woke my truck right up.

sorry, I finally found the link for the TSB's. You have to pay for them if you want the most current up to date ones. $10.00 for 72 hours or $90 for 1 year worth

I've had my '05 for about a 1.5 months now and was wondering if I was feelings things or not. "Glad" to hear I'm not the only one and that there is a cure. Until I got use to the hesitation, initially there was no response, so I'd push a bit harder on the throttle, then all of a sudden you get it all, which more often then not was more throttle then what I was looking for (If that made any sense!?!?). Still proving to be a royal paini in the A$s in traffic!

This all being said, has anyone tried the trick previously described about turning the key on, pedel to the floor, release, turn key off? If so, did it work?

Off topic I know, but any comments on the Edge tuner versus the DiabloSport Predator? I see some of you have one. I've used the Predator on my previous '02 but is the Edge any better?? Any recommendations?

Thanks gang.

Yep, the trick previously described about turning the key on, pedel to the floor, release, turn key off worked wonders. No more hesitation on my 06 5.4 screw.
