As usual, good call Fellas!! Went and got them today, and of course the counter guy flipped! Fit fine and boy do they clean the windshield! Much better coverage then before!! Gotta figure out how to turbo charge them now!!
Turbo charge? Okay try this, Wally World carries the Rain-X line of windshield fluid. It already has the Rain-X in the mix and it works great!! I never had good luck with Rain-X till I used this version of their product.
I lived in Houston and New Orleans, where it rains. (you didn't know that) RainX saved my rear a bunch of times. 55 in a rain storm and not even turn the wipers on. I never leave home without it. Got it on all four of my vehicles even though I now live where it don't rain. There is always that chance of that freak shower where I might need it. Helps the bugs to come off easier seems to me like. Maybe its all in my head (my wife says there's lots of room in there).

Hey Heavy, went to see Wally today. If those people all drive like they push their carts, we're all in trouble!! Anyway, all they had was an additive that you put in your regular washer fluid. Was that what you were talking about?
Brian - you can do it either way, but I prefer the premixed fluid. BTW, RainX has two different types of fluids. One for the summertime and one for the winter. The winter mix is great in that it helps to defrost your windshield and won't freeze on like regular windshield fluids do in subfreezing temps. The summer fluid is great in getting the bug guts off your windshield instead of smearing it all over. Great products especially when combined with 24" wipers!!!
Okay, I'm sold on Rain-X. I think I will go out and get some tomorrow. My first experience with that product was about 20 years ago and for some reason, it didn't work like it was supposed to. Maybe they make a better product now.
Do they still have the one you just spray onto the glass? or just the windshield washer fluid additive?

Both! I've only ever used the one you spray right onto the windshield like a can of hairspray. I used to use it on a little '90 toyota celica, and it worked great. I'd hardly ever use my wipers... above 35 mph or so the water would just roll right off in tiny little drops.

As Ryan stated they do have both and I use both. The RainX window treatment I use on all of my glass (side and back glass was well as windshield). It helps the water bead right off of them so you use your wipers less or not at all. In the winter time it makes it easier to remove ice and snow as it does not stick to the glass. Then I use the RainX washer fluid and as I stated in my previous post the green summer stuff helps to get bug guts off of you windshield without it smearing all over the place and the orange winter stuff helps to defrost ice and snow and will not freeze on the window.
Ok, went out this morning and got the Rain-X windshield washer fluid with the Rain-X stuff in it, the regular Rain-X exterior spray, and the Rain-X interior anti-fog stuff. So let's see how it goes the next time it rains.
