Looking to buy first PSD.
Looking to buy first PSD. I'm Looking for '99-'00 and finding them but with issues, one is late '99 F350 CC, L bed, bad mis untill warmed up and ABS light on, with rebuilt trans, 265,000 mi for $9500. I tried going back 40+ pages but couldn't find causes and possible fixes to tell if this was a good deal. Thanks for any input.

Could be something as easy as a speed sensor all the way to a control module. there should be a code stored if you can get it to someone with a PSD scanner

You are in the right place!!! Take your time and read through as many of these threads as you can. This is one of the very best places to learn about issues and what to look for.
I spent a long 10 months or so watching prices, looking at internet ads, test driving, reading forums and settled on exactly what we wanted. Once we knew that, the hunt was on and we found exactly what we wanted and needed and at what I feel was a good price. There will be some good ones that will get away, but hold tough to what you really need and want at the right price and the right one will show up.
Oh...and the Carfax or Autocheck vehicle history records are worth getting!!! You get a good general history of the vehicle and I highly recommend them. I wouldn't buy a used car/truck without checking history records first.
Good luck!!! We'll be waiting to see what you find.
