do you install the window from the inside, or the outside?

i have the new window seals from bob drake, and cant decide which way is correct. does the "flap go to the inside, or the outside?

Here is the page out of the truck manual dealing with the installation of the rear window in a conventional cab, I would assume it's basically the same as the panels rear window. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to that part of either of my panels yet.

oh yeah.... there is a difference in the lower and upper hinge

the upper is straight from the eye to the back of the hinge, and the lower is bent at a slight angle. just a very slight, but big difference when hanging the doors.

Bob.

I was checking out your gallery and saw you installed your driver's side running board. I know I asked about it before, but did you have to loosen up your fender before installing the board? The panel I bought last summer didn't have the board installed and it going to be next summer project after I paint the truck a better color of to match my F-2.

no i did not loosen the fender, but did loosen the body mounts, and used the porta power to lift the body about 1.5 " off the frame..... board slipped right in.

and thank you again for the parts.

You're welcome.

It doesn't sound like too much work to slip the board in concidering I have pulled the entire bodies off a few panels. It only took about six hours to swap the bodies between the two panels I have.

Thanks
