ok ill try, all i have to do is just crank it over or use wrench to turn it, ?

You could just bump the starter, just bump it though, don't let it start or crank for any time at all.

You realise, that if he has a turbo timer and it starts when he bumps it - he's NOT going to be able to shut it off straight away.........right?

That's why I said NOT to let it start. He could also pull the IDM fuse, wouldn't start that way either.
Hopefully if he has a turbo timer he will take that into consideration.

oki got it just cranked it by hand, and i have forged going by the look of the nut on the rod

Well, I cannot tell by that pic but if you have a nut and not a bolt, you should be good. Again, not the end of the world for me but something to keep in mind. Now go right down to the casino while the luck is holding out.

I got my hopes up with my 01, turns out the engine was built the same month as the truck, Feb 01.

It's all good hoseman. I do not think I am anywhere near 400hp. And even then, that does not mean I will have a meltdown. I think Kris is in PMR land too but still driving on.
