Exclamation 1985 C6

just dropped my trans on the 85 for my motor swap into the 70, and noticed theres an electrical plug on the tranny, what is this, i assume its for the nutral safety switch and the reverse light, which wires are which, and how should they be hooked up into the 1970? thanks in advance for your replys! Dustin

if you are talking about the switch behind the shifter arm on the side of the trans, yes, that is the neutral safety switch/reverse light combo switch.
as far as hooking it up into the 70's wiring, that i can't answer

go down to the electrical forum, and ask franklin2. dave knows just about everything there is to know on truck wiring systems.
