If I was going to run an electric pump I would use a Delco, a couple of parts numbers can be used. The pumps I am talking about were used on the 6.5's. They required the same fuel pressure the pumps on these engines do. I would set them up the same way. Use the 4lb oil pressure switch to kick in the relay for the pump while the key is in the run position and have it kick on during cranking. That system worked great for years.
very possible, not sure there, havent heard any complaints from my buddy that has two of them installed about a year ago. Still kicking away. I think that the bad batch thing is becoming more and more prevalent as parts and manufacturing are sent to the lowest bidder.
