Diff R&I

does anyone have the procedure to remove a 2002 explorer limited rear diff and rebuild it, or a web site I could print it off of?

Remove the wheels, disconnect the brake lines and e-brake, remove driveshaft, disconnect ABS sensor and other lines or whatever may be there, put a hack underneath it and then disconnect the shocks and springs and lower it out.

I would recommend picking up a Chilton or Haynes manual as they will have the procedure on how to take care of that.

Do a search for the factory manual; it's not gonna be cheap but you've got Independent Rear Suspension on that '02 and it's a lot different from a solid 3rd member.
