I know the 08 Rear Aluminum Diff cover fits my 04 F250 SD.. Does anyone know of one for the front diff? I'd like to change them out..

I already bought the back(and insatted), but can't find one to match the back. Back fit real nice, looks good. 3 quarts of Royal Purple.

I found this ring, if your interested in building a diff guard over stock cover. It doesn't include cover. $20, of course longer bolts will be needed. !/4 " thick, CNC machined.

The only finned covers I have heard of for the front diff are the Mag Hytec ones. I think it would be strange to put a Mag Hytec on the front and not on the rear though, but I am picky about stuff like that sometimes.

Ther are some finned ones otu there but they don't match the Ford cover. I'm thinking a guard over stock cover. Warn ha sthis one for $79 + ship. Tough choice.

My problem is I want the Aluminum on the back and something to match the front.. It will look retarded with aluminum on the back and black on the front.. Hell might just have to go Mag.. Hate to spend nearly $500 on diff covers but I guess they have an advantage..

I have the polished ORU covers front and rear, they look great and are cheaper than the Mag-Hytec covers which ORU also carries.

Look at the PML covers, they have been around for many years, and use the factory style gasket (instead of an o-ring like the Mag Hytec). I am not a big fan of the o-ring system that Mag Hytec uses by the way.

These covers come in cast finish, black and polished, they can also be machined to install a temperature probe. Also the 05-08 use a different cover than the 04 & older, to clear the steering linkage & track bar on the coil spring front end.

blackhat620, the PLM's look good, too bad I can't find something like the ford for the front, at only $49 bucks, PlM's Are $180-290, Magtech's are expensive too. I think I'll just make a diff guard for the front to go over stock cover. Ilike the ring I showed in an earlier post, and add some steel over it. Would be good protection in Az. with all the rocks. Something like the pictures:

I have the Mag-hitek but it does not clear the track bar very well & the fins get a bit scuffed up (a slight understatement) but it sure looks wicked under my Road Armor stealth bumper! kind of Mad Max lookin'

Here's a link to Trail Defense covers. Not aluminum, but.......

I'm not affiliated with these guys and don't know much about them, but the covers look pretty good. Except for their logo right on the front maybe. Could be smaller or something.

I ordered the Ford '08 cover and hardware from DieselManor. FAST shipping. Good work guys!
I'll be working on that this weekend!

There is no matching for the 08 Rear cover for the 4x4 to add to the front. Best bet is to do a PML or MAG Hitech cover they are fairly affordable. You can get a matching front and rear.
