Hi Guys, This might be a simple one for you but it's got me stumped. When I turn on the headlights to my 93 F150 only the headlights come on (no dash, tail or running lights). If I push the **** in part way to the first click and play with it a bit, I can get everything on, but if I hit a bump...
I changed the switch assembly, that didn't fix the problem. Also, there is something draining the battery when the truck is off - maybe its related. What do you think? How can I fix this problem?
I also had this issue, i replaced the headlight switch (fun to do in the dark) and everything works now. But i did notice that the tan wire was burnt and the socket melted. how do I correct that part of the problem? Is it just a factory socket problem or something more serious?
Poor design, not sure. When I replaced mine. I used a needle nose pliers and pushed all the wires in the socket nice and tight. Then zipped tied them together.
