My ICP sensor was leaking oil out the top of the plug so I bought this one off ebay. It seems to be the right part # for a 2000 7.3 PSD, but it is a different shape than the one on my truck now. The one I have is longer and has a skinner base, with a much smaller (like 1/3 the size) neck to remove it with a wrench.
Does anyone know if Ford has updated/modified the ICP sensors, or is this new one okay? Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the response Alan! Nothin' like thinking you got screwed on ebay!
BTW, be sure to buy a can of electrical connector cleaner and clean the wire pigtail and harness completly, to remove all oil residue. I removed the wires from the plastic loom and thouroughly cleaned everything. That electrical cleaner is some powerful stuff!
