abs

changed front abs sensor on left wheel now abs light stays on. can anyone help?

Before you change front ABS sensor(s) you need to (1)check the lenght of sensor(tip to mounting base) and (2)check depth of bore with a depth micronometer(0 to 1"). Allow a starting gap of 0.020". With a DMM(set on microVolts) hooked up to the connectors two leads, rotate by hand the rotor.
Keep shimming to get highest reading(usually 60 to 140 uVolts).

thanks ranger *****,found out i didn't have it seated in the hole.
