Countermaker, where did you get that tow hook for your hitch?
It looks good and could come in handy for me, As when i pull a fence post or something out of the grond I always have to tie the rope around the ball, when I have to cut the end of the rope off as it is on there so tight from all of the pressure.
The type of hook you have would work great with a clevis slip hook.

all i know is my sis's b/f uses it to drag jeeps out of mud and he has one on the front of his jeep for when he gets stuck...you aint going to break it if thats what your asking..trust me its solid
