Water Leak?
I have an 04' F-350 SD CC, I recently removed an XM satelite radio from my truck. I had the antenna wire running out the driver side door, behind the door weather stripping and up the windshield seal and the antennea was centered over the windshield. It seems that right before I removed the antenna wire I noticed a small leak whenever it would rain really hard and the truck was backed in my driveway. Now that the antenna wire is removed the truck leaks all the time and I haven't got a clue where it's comming from. I see that it is dripping down by the hood release as well as the parking brake release. I also noticed that it is laying in an angle brace located on the lower part of the dash support. Just today I was checking my lights and saw that my fog lights weren't working, so I went to check the fuse and when I opened the fuse box cover water ran out so it may have shorted something out. I really need to find the source of this leak before it destroy's my truck. I put some silicone between the door weatherstrip and the windshield seal but it dosen't seem to have worked. Any help to narrow the search for the leak would be Greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go to the top of any FTE page and click on recalls/tsb's. Click on full text tsb's and then select your truck from the list of years & models, and then navigate down to tsb #04-23-9. This is a common problem and can be solved with some silicone sealer.
