My 02 ECSB, with 285s, steel wheels, 47 gal transfer flow tank, and all of my work tools, a aluminum cap ranks in at 8700 with a full tank of fuel IIRC. Checked it on two scales, one at the university, and one at a trash hauling company we do their radio work for. The reason i mentioned steel wheels, is because the factory steel wheels are substantually heavier then the aluminums, as the aluminums are forged wheels.
My 2002 F250 EC SB, 4x2, steel wheels, AT, 1/4 tank(around 7 gallons) weighs 6840 w/o me. Add me(325), my misc. crap(200), my brother(275) and the tongue wt of the 6600 lb. gooseneck, and I am considerably over the weight rating of my 8,000 lb plate.
I had to purchase some flagstone a while back. They weighed me empty - coming in, and loaded - going out.
The unloaded weight of my 2000, F250, 7.3PSD, 2WD, Crewcab, 6.5' bed with Ranch Hand brushguard & rear bumper was reported at 6660 lbs. This was with a nearly empty fueltank and my 175 lb **** behind the wheel.
