Well, sorta, my wife is looking at a 2001 F350 Crew Cab Powerstroke for me from a friend of the family and he is thinking of selling it and gave us first shot at it (not sure when he is going to sell it but he may sell it soon as he likes new trucks and has been talking about selling it). It's a beautiful truck with a leveling kit and oversize tires and some custom graphics on it and it is immaculate, the owner takes very good care of it and he may ask $19,000 for it with less than 80,000 miles on the clock.
Not an A'Star but a nice truck to boot.
Not sure if we can hack the payments if he sells anytime soon, but we are going to try try try try to hack it.
You must have been a very, very good boy this past year for Mrs. Claus to get you a truck. In the General Automotive forum, I just read where another guy's wife is giving him a 10,000 lb floor lift for his garage.

I took her to an Elton John concert this Sept for her birthday, that scored some heavy points, plus the fact the last two vehicles were purchased with her in mind, so...I guess that leaves a truck for me to get.
It's not in stone yet, but could be very close, maybe by beginning of next year, hopefully.
I have been a good boy, this is our second marriage for us....so, we are doing things right and having a great time being together and enjoy getting each other stuff.
She bought me a palm pilot out of the blue for me as my old one crapped out and I use it for work, I was like WOW, those aint cheap. At least for us anyway.
Wish me luck.
My next toy would be to get my '64 Chevy C-10 running, she said to just buy a new crate motor for it and quit screwing around with keeping the old one running.
Yeah! F350 is a good truck.... my friend delivered flooded F350 from New Orlean (the engine was dead). He installed there Diesel Engine from Mercedes Atego with 6st tranny.... It is amaising, but 20 mpg! One minuse - 180 hp is not the optimal engine for F350... I want to drive faster!
Is this the older big Powerstroke, or the new one. If it is the 6.2L, I would install an oil pressure accumulator, which does away with the dry starting that is killing the newer Powerstrokes prematurely.
It was 7.3 engine inside.... But it was dead... Someone tried to drive in deep water... water flow inside the engine througt air intake... Brocken KRANCKSHAFT!!!! and 3 rods!!!! so My friend got engine from Mercedes Atego 180 HP and replaced it.... That is all... he still drives it... Here it is popular to install Mercedes diesels to old cars and trucks... For example OM 601, 603, 615 fit Aero, Ranger, Volga and UAZ.... engines of Atego fit F250, F350, Suburban.....
Man she must have a BIG project lined up for you to do..........
With the price of diesel and the low MPG of a F350 it wouldn't even be on my list.
My choice would be to take that money and get me one of the 1 of 300 Limited Edition 2007 Mustang.
JaY
No project that I'm aware of........
Actually, I'm the type that makes sure the little woman has a good car to drive then worry about myself. She now has a couple of good rigs and says it's my turn.
Heck she wants a big Harley so we can go to the coast too!!
The Harley is a long way off, maybe. She would like one but the truck is pushing it as of now. She opened a drive thru espresso and it was a tough year this last year but things are picking up for the better which is why she was discussing the truck with me.
The Harley..... probably have to wait. I'm just glad that she likes to do things with me, my ex-wife, did not want to have anything to do with me.
Love your wives gents and ladies respect your husbands. It says so in the bible.
However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:33
True statement, wives just want to be loved, us guys need respect.
We are going through a bible study on how men men and women tick. it's pretty fun with a bunch of men and women explaining what each other does and what it means. Our pastor is having a blast, our whole class are divorcee's.
