my alignment tech says that if i need standard alignment its $55 . but if i need bushing alignment it would be $165. I asked what bushing alignment was he said that its the upper ball joint adjustment...i have a 2005 f150 screw. Is he pulling my leg or is there a ball joint adjustment when it comes to alignment?
you cannot adjust the upper ball joint. you can however adjust camber on an f150. and its not thru bushings. go to another shop and get another quote. and if youve been had at one of these places, report them to the better business bureau.
i should report 4wheelparts. i 1st went there several months ago and paid like 140 for an alignment. i think it drove better before. now it pulls to the right . unfortunatly its been past 90 days so they wont fix it for free. The place i was thinking about is les schwab
Sorry you had that problem with 4WheelParts. Had mine done Christmas Eve for $120. They also installed camber adjustment kits (additional charge). Drives great and seems to have corrected the problem I had after installing the AS 2" levelling kit. Two prior alignments at dealer yielded no improvements in tire wear.
