OK, my idea for a meet in Pleasanton did not pan out. Only one other member (Tiger Dan) decided to come out to Pleasnton. And I messed up and didn't even get to meet him. So I am thinking it was my fault for not picking the right venue. I propose that we have an FTE table at the Easter Show in Micke Grove Park. (There are dozens of piknic benches under a very large metal cover. I know that's a long way off. (I think that they will be having it on April 1) Micke Grove is the best truck show in NorCal. I believe that it is put on by the F-100 Elites out of the Bay area. I can do something to identify our table for FTE. Signs? Balloons? Let me know. There are lots of Ford trucks and a few cars. It is a super day. Jag
Where is Micke Grove Park? Sacramento, or there abouts???
I'm thinking that for a successfull meet, Central Location, from coast to Nevada might be a good idea too. Just from my perspective, if it's at the Bay Area, that's 4-5 hours from my house. Of course, how can I complain when WillyB drove all the way to Fallon Nevada from Fresno for a Nevada Chapter Meet?...
Sounds like a good event though. Is there a website for it? Post up some additional info please.

Oh COOL 1fine. Sounds like you've answered my question. Sacramento eh? Now that one I can do. Just looked at the schedule and I have the day off. Count me in Jag.
Micke Grove is a big big park in Lodi. It has a zoo, lake, rose gardens, amusement park and tons of parking perfect for truck/car shows. They also have built in BBQ grills so all you have to do is bring your own charcoal and meat. The truck club furnishs a couple of loads of brickets but those 2 or 3 grills get lines a formin real quick. Try this link:
OK, that one I can do. Count me in as well, I'm already over my case of the sour grapes over last weekend...
And I'll bring my guitar and mandolin as well, maybe Tim and I can make some noise. I think I read somewhere that Andy plays too, although our stuff may not be his cup of tea. But I'm flexible. (Just no metal or hip-hop/rapcrap).
Dunno what I'd do with those horseshoes, though...you do not want to be anywhere around when I'm throwing hard metal objects. I have no idea where they're going to go...
BTW, my dad used to be a professional sign painter and even had a banner business at one time. I can get him to help me make a NorCal Chapter FTE banner that we can display at events like this. Any input on just how big it should be and what should be on it?

Yeah, I'm sure we can find some common ground, Andy.
I'm getting excited already. April 1th is a looong way away though, maybe we can figure out something before then as well. I'll be going to the Dicken's Faire at the Cow Palace if anybody has plans to go to that...
