You scared me Mike. I hope the link below eases any concern. I did find another source that said it was on the 1st, but this one clearly states different. Not that we couldn't do a meet on Easter Sunday... It might even be cool, if some members have kids, to throw in an egg hunt or a visit from a beer drinkin bunny or something. Anyone wishing to attend Sunday services could attend them in the morninig eh?
But hopefully the link I posted is correct and it is in fact on April 8th.

Easter is the 8th. I'm only guessing that the show is on the 1st because that's the way they did it this year. Before this year, it was always on Easter and they had Easter egg hunts and sometimes even a visit from a very large bunny. There are F-100 Elite members on the normal FTE site. I will post a question and see if they have officially set the date yet. Personally, I would like it to go back to Easter Sunday. This year the amusement park was not quite ready to open for the season. Jag

Thanks for getting this one rolling Jag. Looks like a winner. What do you think about posting over on the Nevada Chapter? Some of the Northern folks might be interested in coming over? maybe even some of the Southern Nevada and Southern Califorinia members might be interested. A little further for the Southerners though, but ya never know.
Also, do you have any info on RV Parks in the area? Some members, from moderate distances, might be interested in dragging their campers to avoid driving home the same day.

Also, have you alerted WillyB about the meet. He is the Chapter Leader ya know. Might be a good idea to PM him or something, so he can be involved in helping you plan etc.

All good points Tim. I may be getting the cart before the horse though. I am going to confirm the date with Rene' if possible.

Uh oh. I hope not. I do Easter every year with my folks.
Imagine getting **** drunk the night before you celebrate the day Christ arose.

Well, I aint got real big ears, and my nose don't wiggle much. I can fit into a pair of size twelve boots, so my feet are proportionate to my height. Don't hop much either.
But my beer is your beer my FTE brother. As long as you bring a few brews to share with this furry chapter member.

I think I can dredge up some decent suds. We've got some stuff made locally called Red Tail Ale that makes that Sierra Nevada Pale Ale stuff taste like dish water. (Not really, but it's as good...so I'm told. I don't partake m'self...!)

One of my best friends is the town butcher so I`m pretty sure I can scare up some prime dead animal flesh,to go with suds

Sounds like fun to me - you guys set it up and I will attend!

But I do hope we have another meeting before next Easter - we should have some sort of activity every month.

Geeze, seems like every time i think I can get to one of these somebody plans something I can't get out of.

I think my boss told me that our annual conference is the week of the 2nd of April. Now depending on where they arrange to go may make a difference.

The first choice is Konocti Harbor, so I may be able to bother Dan after hours one of the days if I can find private transportation. But I may be the one stuck staying home this year as I have gone every year and someone has to hold down the fort.

Planning and approval stages so far so I will know in the coming weeks, I hope.

Rich

Well, push for going and push for Konocti Harbor as it's 15 minutes from my house. Come down a day early and we can go to the meet together and get back here Sun. night, then you're right on time for the conference on Monday morning. Works for me, how 'bout you...?
