why is it so difficult to locate in all these catalogs the lower grille panel or "apron" for the 53'F100's.They stop at 52' and pick up again at 55' or so. I need one Help!(metal)
I'd think '53's would be popular enough to warrant making a splash pan ( hopefully with knockouts for the '54 grill to fit ). But for now, there aren't any steel ones available.
Thanks,But why would I need to use a '54 grille when the '53 I have is in perfect condition. Also what do you mean by knock outs? Obsoleteford.com has the fiberglass ones but they said it's basically a cut-out which has no holes or brackets for mounting like the metal ones.:-X11
Sorry to add to the confusion. The splash pan is the same for the '53 and '54 except the '54 grille extends down through the pan requiring holes for it. Just wishful thinking on my part for my own truck.
Thanks man, I'm looking on eastwood products to purchase a body work hammer to see if I can get some of the dings out of the one I have.Any suggestions? I'm thinking this may be my only last ditch effort to stay metal.
