Toothless 53's
Why do so few 53's have their grill teeth? My assumption is their owners/builders just like the looks without the teeth. But we all know where assumptions take us.

Source: James K Wagner's "Ford Trucks Since 1905", "teeth" were a trim feature only on "Deluxe" trim that replaced the 51-52 "Five Star Extra" option. 53 Standard cab was toothless.

Ohhhh OK, I guess I have the Custom Cab. My 53 has teeth in the grill, V8 emblem, chrome trime around the side hood emblems, and it is obvious from the rusted and pitted drip rail that there use to be chrome drip rail trim.
I like the looks of the teeth so I will keep them.
