Now stop and think about it guys, how many females come on this forum and ask about finding a romance ? ...

Women do not need to ask about how to take a relationship to the next level. They know how. Give them credit. They are what make big strapping men cry and work their fingers to the bone. Why would a species with that much empowerment need help finding romance on a fteforum ? Can we do a group hug and say Duuuuuh ??

I was gonna steer clear of this thread but I just can't. Rr you got someone your interested in, you think they may be interested in you. What sex they are and what sex you are is irrelevant. Communication is the key. Tell them how you feel whether you are just looking for friendship or maybe more. If it is a same sex thing the worst that can happen if your reading the person wrong is you get punched in the nose and they are uncomfortable. Heck I have read alot of women wrong and got slapped in the face. They will get over it and so will you. What is a punch in the nose or a slap in the face compared to the possibility of longterm happiness. You were brave enough to post this here probably knowing the risks involved you should be ok discussing this with your friend. I wish you luck. If the person says no or you get punched in the nose do not try persuing it any further. No means no. Slaps to the face and punches to the nose mean hell no.

P.S if anyone wants to poke fun for anything I have said fire away. I don't care. This person seems to have asked a straight question I tried to give a straight answer.(no pun intended)

You're a good guy 70blue.

RR, go get an MBA and get assertive and be successful. FTE is for MBS and I hope you don't take it badly.

Fun is where you find it. We're just having some fun here.

Nothing wrong with a little fun. I just figured I would try to put in a straightfoward answer in the middle of this fun. I have had a few chuckles reading this. The trouble is I doubt the original poster has. Folks from all walks of life have feelings I just hope we have not hurt a certain ones too much. I have been guilty of having fun at others expense in the past and the shoe has been on the other foot. It is no fun when the shoe is on the other foot. I am not trying to flame anyone or be a killjoy just look at this as a friendly reminder.

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

I don't know why but I listened to the song and i laughed even harder.

I'll stick to this thread to see what happens next. It made my day.

I can live with that ....I have a reputation to uphold.

BUT,

It doesn't mean I'm NOT thinking other things

In reality, I turn this thread upside down with off colour humour.

Post #7 is the root of all of this madness. By the order of the thread's Posting Legend, "Enquiring Minds" were to figure out the pertinent details and report back their findings.

The findings are well documented in this thread and there is no need to summarize again.

One thing interesting though, he is a Psych Major in college.

And that's all I have to say.

I caught the part about the psych major. Maybe we are being studied. If so the egg is on all our faces as we have all fallen into a trap. I still would rather err on the side of caution incase the op is serious.

Ranger Rules, here is a link found by doing a simple Google search to help answer your questions. It is titled "Making New Friends". Hope it contains the answers you are seeking.

I have had to delete one post in here. If you can't find one of your posts you know it was yours. Either way, let's not have any masking of profanity or name calling. Please keep it clean.

From Post #7 :

Ranger Rules...are you Male or Female...?

Enquiring minds want to know.

No, It was plain question to RR ...as I can't possibly remember who is who for 300,000 people.

I am the one that always asks people to put their "Given name" in their posts instead of hiding behind a user name.

You know..Like a letter one writes

This would have cleared up the situation ...toute suite

I would only offer advice if his reason.... is within my belief system.

By possible I meant I could see being friends with this person, but perhaps they might say no, like mentioned earlier. And no, I don't have any other usernames, and I'm not doing anything for Psych. class.

BTW, stop with the Mr. Rogers, that even had me laughing.
