taking dash out

just trying to get the headlight **** off so i can take the dash out. im not totaly sure how? its a 75ford 250

make sure battery is disconnected

reach around under the dash there is a button on top of the headlight switch press it and pull the headlight **** out

It is easiest if the shaft is pulled to the ON position BEFORE depressing the button on the switch.
Too many people have broken too many switched because they didn't know this.

It's the difference between "slamming away at it" or it "gently slides out".
