Tires for F-250 4x4

Hey Guys. What tires should I be getting for winter up here in Canadaland? I've been looking at the BF All terrain TA's. What size should I get? I am after the fat tire look. I have stock rims.

fatter tires means fatter rims.

Thinner tires always go through the snow better then fatties

The Bridgeston Dueler Revos are the best tire that money can buy. There was a huge difference when I put them on my 4x2 and I can't wait to put them on my 4x4.

If you are after thinner tires and want the same ride height you need 235 85 r 16

235 85 r 16 = 235mm (9.25in) wide 805.9 (31.7in) Tall

265 75 r 16 = 265mm (10.43in) wide 803.9 (31.6in) Tall

315 75 r 16 = 315mm (12.40in) wide 878.9 (34.6in) Tall

i went with bfg mt 255/85/16 on the stock 7" rims. fit great on the rims. real close to the bumper up front but they fit. anything wider will need a shimmed or trimmed front bumper, or even a lift.

I'm done with BFGs. I liked them but they have limitations. Snow I thought the BFG AT KOs were very limited. Sucks to be the only vehical to need 4x4 to climb up the driveway in the winter. Anyway not my first choice. It seems the REVOs are the hot ticket. I have a few friends with them and their results are convincing. I will to own some when I need to replace my tires. Currenlty I have 265 tires and maybe I'll go 285s in the future. 33's is all the bigger I'd care to go.
