what cam do i have

I have a '66 289 and was wounderning what cam i have i looked for a castning number but didn't notise one is there a way to tell what i have thanks.

Even if you do find a number there's no guarantee you'll find the correct data for it. You should measure the cam and then you know for sure. All you need is a dial gauge and degree wheel. Here's a good article with a couple pics that show these tools in action.
