Replacing engine - what else should I do while I'm in there?
I'm going to replace the worn out motor in my truck with a Motorcraft remanufactured long block.
The three things I'm planning right now are:
1. Service fuel injectors while they are out.
2. Replace all 10 plug boots from the coil packs to the plugs.
3. Install headers (probably try a set of the new Headman headers).
What else should I do while I've got everything apart? I've heard of problems with the IAC. Is this something to address while I'm in there?
Anyone happen to have a convenient list of all the gaskets and parts I'll need for the swap?
Thanks!
