Wink This site is great!

Ime so tired of taking my truck to the dealer for repairs. You know what i mean like the 130.00 diagnostic fee for not fixing nothing. Or the last service I got the truck back and it had a dent in the door and nobody new nothing arrrrrgh. Or the misdiagnosed things like "You need a new set of muffler bearings". Or the "knoider valve is leaking". Thanks to this site I think I can make some repairs on my own. Oh and the mods you can do I better get the check book out.

I know what you mean. The last time I took mine to the stealer it cost me $$$ because 'The finnigan pin broke and caused the Johnson rods to go out of alignment'.

We have had a major influx of Pro-FTE threads here recently. This place is truly great. I tried browsing TDS for a week-ish to be fair to myself, and i couldn't stand how childish peope twice, three times my age were acting there. I just had to come back here. Not that i would ever leave.

I agree, TDS has great info but way too many ego's and BS. I like it better here on FTE. The people make it what it is.

Yes, Yes and Yes.
It could leave you completely stranded,
I could be a hit and miss for a while, able to restart a few times before stopping completely.
Most of use carry a spare CPS along with a 10mm socket and ratchet.

This is a very good site! About the only complaint I have is the way the forum is set up to automatically not allow links to other forums. Sometimes there's good info in different threads, or maybe pictures in a post I like to link to, but FTE always shunts my posts with the links to a moderator or administrator.

Those posts never see the light of day.

I don't understand why the forum is set to do that. Does anyone know why?

Stewart
