Cackle/Knock?

Cackle/Knock?
OK, buddies truck. '03 7.3 w/ GT38, Banks intercooler, FASS, TS chip and 6gun.
Friday got a loud knock. Filled up tank, no change. Changed oil, chopped open filter, no metal. New oil didn't help.
We noticed the knock coincides with a pulse in his fuel pressure. Front passenger side cylinder is noticably cooler than others.
Does this sound like an injector?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

I had a similar situation surface after I installed my HPX line. It was really annoying for a while but seems to have gotten better after a few months. Now it is getting colder and the darn thing is just louder when it's colder. I don't drive my PSD anywhere near as often as I should. I know it's bad for it but that is life. If it persists or gets worse, I think I'm going to Harbor Freight and get an IR pointer gauge and see what is going on
My noise seems to come from the front of the driver side. Still runs fine, not gonna mess with that for now.
