Hurting cats?

Now, I've heard that running 110 octane will hurt your cats, but does this mean it will clog them, or mean they will flow free-er? No need to worry about emissions, just looking to free up some HP.

I believe the real concern there is that 110 octane fuel usually has lead in it and that will plug your cats and make them more restrictive. Not to mention the lead will destroy your O2 sensors as well. You can get 110 octane "unleaded' fuel at some race tracks for your application. -Ed

You'll need a way to advance your timing to take advantage of the extra octane.

Just putting it in your tank will not give you extra power.
