FORD script stamping plate

In doing some custom sheetmetal on my truck, I was thinking that I might want to add in a FORD script stamping (like what was used on the 52 and earlier tailgates) onto some of the flat body panels (like on my new smoothed firewall, or back of cab). Anyways, I know that LMC use to carry these in their catalog, but apparently they no longer do. Anybody know where you can still get these stamping plates? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

FORD script stamping plate

Hey ken, thanks for the help, but I didn't see what it was I'm looking for. What I'm trying to find is the FORD script that is stamped into a piece of sheetmetal, almost like a license plate, not an emblem. I know LMC had carried them for some time, but apparently no longer does. Just wondered if anyone had seen them sold by another vendor. I mean my other alternative would be to cut one out of a tailgate, but I don't like the idea of destroying old sheetmetal, let alone even finding a tailgate with the script.

I haven't seen anyone selling the dies, but I've got a scrap tailgate from a '48 F1 that has the bottom roll nearly rusted off and the top roll is smashed nearly flat - was a working farm truck for over 30 years before it was left to rust in peace. I'll dig it out of the shed tomorrow and take a closer look at it.

Let me know what size of a patch you're looking for and I'd be willing to cut out as much of the center script panel as you need. You pay for shipping and its yours.

I found a replacement tailgate for mine.

Tim, I'd be interested in the script you have on that tailgate as long as its not totally mangled, and you don't mind hacking it out for me.
