tranny fluid? what type
i have an 84 f150 its and automatic with a v6 what knid of tranny fluid can i put in it. thanks

According to the Haynes manual 81 - 86 uses Mercon

Ford part number XT-2-QDX or DDX

On the stick it should say Dexron III/Mercon. That's what is on my 86 C-6.
